THE STORY
In the future, movies are scrambled and love no longer exists. But in a BACK TO FUTURE-style adventure, you can change the future with the help of your movies and a few analog time machines. You can restore the great movie library and allow future humans to know what love is. In the process, you will uncover your “film love language” and etch a REEL memory that will change the way you are seen by the one you love.
WHO IS IT FOR?
It’s for married couples, dating couples, engaged couples, newlywed couples, couples celebrating an anniversary, Valentines or couples just looking for a unique date night….so basically couples.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Prior to the experience, couples secretly use our our custom REEL app to discover and submit their Top 10 movies, During the experience, couples are introduced to a story where they must save the future by helping time-traveler rebuild the great movie library, as well as help future humans know what love is. REEL Viewmaster (facilitators) will help participants explore their favorite characters’ heroic traits, desires, fears and happily-ever-afters, along with the best images of what love looks like in their top 10 movies. This 4 hours experience that feels like 40 minutes is designed to allow couples to unpack their insights as a couple, making the evening both fun and meaningful.
WHAT ARE THE OUTCOMES?
There is a study by the University of Rochester that concluded that if couples watch movies together and talk about them afterwards, they can cut their divorce rate in half. Our hope is that this first will be a fun time together. Second, we would love an outcome to be that you leave seeing one another more clearly and having a movie visual to associate with one another. Lastly, we want you to etch a lasting memory that will play like a “movie reel” in your head.
